On November 27, Poly Technology and the Uganda Embassy in China signed an agreement to donate a solar system to Kawanda School in Uganda. The company's deputy general manager Cao Wensu and Ugandan Ambassador Charles signed the agreement on behalf of both parties. Philip the First Secretary of the Uganda Embassy in China, the company's export department, party and mass department and Poly New Energy Company personnel participated in the event.
Kawanda School is located in Uganda's SEMBABULE Province, with a total of 1,063 students and 33 classrooms. In order to solve the problem of classroom lighting in the school and effectively improve the learning conditions for students, the company proposed a technical solution for donating solar power station systems to the school after arranging field trips for technical staff. After the system is completed, all classroom LED tube lights will be realized, and it can meet the power supply requirements of teachers' office computers, printers, and copiers, which will greatly improve the school's teaching conditions. Donating solar energy systems to the school is another positive action for the company to support African children's education and fulfill the overseas social responsibility of central enterprises.
