China National Arts and Crafts Group Co., Ltd. was established in 2007 by the reorganization of two central enterprises of the former China National Arts and Crafts Import and Export Corporation and China National Arts and Crafts (Group) Company, and is directly managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Approved by the State Council in 2017, China Crafts Group was integrated into China Poly Group Corporation as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
The main business of China Craft Group includes the arts and crafts industry, precious metal industry, international trade, asset management, etc. It is the chairman unit of China Arts and Crafts Association, China Toys and Baby Products Association, and has important roles in leading, driving and influencing the development of the industry; It is the vice president of the China Gold Association and a governing unit of the Shanghai Gold Exchange. It has the sole right to accredit gold, silver import and export operations, and the only Chinese laboratory recognized by the International Jewellery Federation. It is a major shareholder and chairman unit of the Shanghai Diamond Exchange. The main shareholder and chairman of the China Arts and Crafts Exchange; it is the Chinese representative of the UNESCO World Crafts Council.
